Last night I finished watching a DVD one of my dear LJ friends sent with Glay's live Expo 2004. Glay is my favorite Japanese band. Those Japanese people are geniuses! Since the live event was at Japan's Universal Studio their HUGE stage was set like a roller coaster and there were fire works, lazers... SUGOI!!! *_*
See the guy on white when you click the link below? He's Teru, the singer, and I used to have a huge crush on him. <3 What a voice!
Interesting note for those of you who know the cartoon 'Teen Titans'. One of the girls from 'Puffy', the band who sings the opening theme for the cartoon, is married to him.

If you can download mp3s I can recommend some songs for you.They're great if you like rock music but they also make great Japanese pop.
How about L'arc~en~ciel? Also a great Japanese band. They did a song called "The Spirits Within" for the movie 'Final Fantasy'.

Yes, they're also Japanese and if I remember well you can listen to the song at the end of the movie (credits).Just found this page where you can sample a few of Glay's songs:
